Genesis 3-5; Mark 2

Genesis 3:6 Under the influence of the devil's suggestion, Eve looks at the tree with a perspective independent of God and sees that it is good for food. Now she, not God, determines what is good. The problem is that God considers this tree to be bad, leading to death, while humans consider it good. Claiming independence from God is the main problem of the fall.

Genesis 4:4-14 Sin does not come alone. The situation with Cain: Wrong attitude toward God - Envy - Bitterness - Killing his brother - Lies - Fear - Depression.
Mark 2:9-10 Christ emphasizes that forgiveness of sins is more important. It is harder to achieve than healing the body. The main purpose for which Christ performs miracles: “that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins".
