Home Groups

Biblical Reason

Home groups is not just a trend.
Worshiping God together and studying Scripture in the context of home churches has been a widespread practice since the days of the apostles. The desire to share our hope, support others, learn from Christ and worship Him is natural for every born-again person.

Worshiping God

We are united by one common love - love for God. That is why we praise Him when gathering together.

Prayers

We all need more than a friendly shoulder. We need mercy, protection and guidance from God. This is why we come together to pray for each other, our church, and other people.

Acts 12: 5, 12; Phillippians 1:22; James 5:16;

Fellowship and caring for each other

We are given to each other to help fight against sin, to encourage in difficulties and help, if it is in our power.

Acts 2:42, 46; Romans 1:11-12; 1 Corinthians 12:24-26; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Galatians 6:1-2; Ephesians 4:15; Phillippians 1:6, 2:1; 1 John 1:1-4

Studying scriptures

A home group is not just a circle of friends. These are people who learn from Christ and imitate His character as reflected in Scripture.

Acts. 2:42, 5:42

Evangelism

It is a place where you can invite your unbeliever acquaintances to get to know believers and learn about God in a simple and non-formal setting.

Spiritual growth

Our faith will only be living and saving when it affects our way of life, character, and decisions. We are given to each other to encourage to live worthy of God.
