Dear brothers and sisters,

A big welcome to all on our Church Day celebration!

The church has a special place in God's creation. As the primary purpose for the existence of the universe, the Church of Jesus Christ is the only creation that has a conscious, intimate and personal relationship with God, the Creator of heaven and earth. The church is a group of people united by the fact that God lives in them. He gives us new birth. He grows us through the Holy Spirit, producing His fruit in us. Through us He does his work of saving and building up others.

It is a great privilege to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ. Being imperfect and limited, weak and sinful, God forgives, accepts, and raises us to the level of His Only Begotten Son. This is what we celebrate today. Our unity is the unity of belonging to Christ - the unity of the blessings we have in Him!

We hope that this celebration of the church will also be your celebration, and that everything that happens on this day will help you greater realize the value of the church and your belonging to it. The corporate services, sharing meals, fellowship, games, and everything else are opportunities to experience our unity in Christ. Try to find chances to serve one another, to meet new people, and pray for each other's needs, praising the Lord for His grace.
