What To Expect?
Everything in the House of God is subject to the purpose of worshiping God. Worship is not liturgy; it is a living, sincere expression of our reverence, love, delight, and dependence on God. It is what dictates the form, content, and sometimes the order of actions and events during the service. For this reason you will hear prayers and singing which express our prayerful invocation to God as well as encouragement of each other. A great deal of time during the service is apportioned to the listening of God’s word preached since the understanding of God’s will leads us to obedience — a way of life which is an act of worship to God (1 Sam. 15:13).
