Father Who Crushed the Son

The salvation accomplished by Christ was planned and orchestrated from beginning to end by His heavenly Father. As terrible as it may seem, it was the Father who sent the Son to earth; it was He who led Him to suffering and death. It was the Father who poured out His holy and righteous wrath upon the Son, who took upon Himself the sins of mankind, in order to fully punish human sin in Him and satisfy eternal divine justice. This is one of the most significant doctrines of salvation.
