Chapter 53 of Isaiah speaks not only of Christ’s substitutionary sacrifice, not only of the Son’s righteousness, not only of God’s plan of salvation, but also of His resurrection and His final victory. This is the victory that reveals the richness of the Messiah’s person. This is the victory that will justify many. This is the victory that will bring satisfaction to the Son and make those He has saved great and strong.
